Romanian Leu In Ranges, Exch Rate At 4.0967 Vs Euro

For the US dollar, the leu’s indicative reached 3.055, 0.8% lower from 3.0292 on Friday.

The leu opened up at p4.1/4.104 to the euro Tuesday and traded in narrow ranges throughout the first part of the day.

At around GMT1000, the leu traded at 4.0965/4.099 per euro, after hitting an intraday high at 4.093 to the euro.

On the money market Tuesday, overnight rates were slightly down at 2.6%-3.1% a year.
