Romania’s Petrom Hikes Fuel Prices By RON0.7 Per Liter

Romania’s largest oil company Petrom SA (SNP.RO) on Monday raised the gasoline and diesel oil prices by 0.7 lei (EUR1=RON3.2886) per liter, following the international crude oil price increases, the company said in a statement.

Thus, the price of one liter of unleaded Premium and unleaded Top Premium 99+ gasoline was hiked to RON3.73, and RON4.1/liter, respectively.

One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 also cost more, namely RON3.87 and RON4.5 respectively.

One liter of Top Euro Diesel 4 costs RON3.68, while the price of Euro Diesel 5 is of RON3.52 per liter, the company said.

Diesel oils OMV Sprint Diesel and OMV Alpin Diesel cost RON3.73/liter and RON4.01/liter, respectively.

Petrom is majority owned by Austrian group OMV.
