The draft stipulates pension recalculations for former specialized auxiliary personnel employed by courts and prosecutors’ offices, embassy and consulate staff, Parliamentary civil servants, deputies, senators, civilian air force staff and employees of the Court of Accounts.

Special pensions for magistrates, prosecutors, judges, specialized auxiliary personnel employed by courts and prosecutors’ offices, embassy and consulate staff, members of Parliament, air force staff and former Court of Accounts employees and magistrates will be recalculated within 30 days. This process will take five months in the case of military pensions for police officers and penitentiary personnel.

All retirees who have obtained disability pensions will be verified within three years.

The law on pension recalculations is one of the two for which the Government will seek a confidence vote in Parliament. Once the law is adopted, all pensions will be calculated according to the current law on the public pension system.
