Romania’s Rompetrol To Cut Diesel Oil, Gas Pump Prices By RON0.03 Per Liter

Romania’s second-largest oil company Rompetrol Group NV, owned by Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz, will cut Monday its diesel oil and gas pump prices by 0.03 lei (EUR1= RON3.8258) per liter, the company said in a statement.

Rompetrol cut Thursday its diesel oil pump prices by RON0.05 per liter, keeping the same prices for the gasoline.

As of Monday, the company will cut its Efix Diesel price to RON3.76 per liter and the Super Euro 5 price to RON4.05 per liter.

The price of Premium Euro 4 gasoline will be RON3.21 per liter. One liter of Efix 95 gasoline will cost RON3.26, while one liter of unleaded Euro Super 98 will cost RON3.89.

The prices of fuel sold in the Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices, Rompetrol announced.

Dutch-registered Rompetrol NV was bought last year by Kazakhstan’s state energy company KazMunaiGaz, which paid $1.6 billion for a 75% stake.
