According to a statement issued by the Health Ministry, the doctor is a specialist in hepatic-biliary-pancreatic and oncology surgery, and also holds an European diploma for multiple-organ transplant procedure.
The ANT executive director represents the agency in relations with state institutions, approves its internal regulations, grants accreditation for transplant centers and authorizes the import and export of organs, tissue and human cells used in transplants.
