Democrat liberal and social democrat leaders will first focus on drafting the 2009 state budget and social security budget laws, sources close to the matter said.
The leaders estimate the two acts will be up for debates in Parliament around January 20 when the two chambers might be summoned in extraordinary meeting.
The current draft acts drawn up and submitted to Parliament by the country’s outgoing government will see radical amendments, depending on the priorities of the new government.
The two parties decided the new government would first draft the law empowering it to issue decrees, which will most likely be initiated during its first meeting on Tuesday.
The democrat liberal and social democrat ministers might hold a preliminary meeting Monday evening, before the government meeting Tuesday.
