A Bucharest Court on Friday issued a 29-day arrest warrant for Marian Milea in the case where Steaua football club owner Gigi Becali was charged with kidnapping three allged car thieves.

Milea, also known as Petre Nila, was detained Thursday by the Bucharest Prosecutor’s Office, which requested and was granted his arrest.

Milea took part in the kidnapping of Tinel Nicolae; he was in the car with two other suspects in this case, Catalin Zmarandescu and Nicolae Dumitrascu.

Gigi Becali, chairman and financer of Steaua Bucharest football club, was arrested for 29 days two weeks ago along four of his bodyguards for kidnapping three alleged car thieves.
