Bucharest Citizens Are Displeased With Public Transportation – Poll

Thus, 38% of Bucharest citizens are displeased with the quality of public transportation, according to a poll of the Romanian Institute Researching the Quality of Life.

 

Respondents also proposed the implementation of nighttime transportation.

 

Some 60% of respondents said a transport schedule should be displayed and kept, while 58% of citizens said they are willing to pay more so that city hall can purchase less polluting buses.  

 

According to the quoted source, 71% of Bucharest citizens use surface transportation, and only 16% use their personal cars.
