Romanian AVAS To Announce Avioane Craiova Buyer Next Wk

Romania’s INAV Bucuresti, Italy’s Alenia Aeronautica and Czech AERO Vodochody filed bids for buying the 80.97% in Avioane Craiova late May.

All the three companies that filed bids in the sale of Avioane Craiova qualified for negotiation stage on improved bids.

According to AVAS head, Teodor Atanasiu, 95% of the offer will be represented by the price paid for the stake, while 5%, the investments.

Atanasiu said late June that they will negotiate the price offered for the stake as well as the investment program.

The company was established in 1972 and operates in the aircraft construction sector.
