Basescu, Bush Discussed Case Of Late Romanian Musician

Romanian president Traian Basescu said Wednesday he discussed with U.S. president George W. Bush about the case of Romanian late musician Teo Peter, adding Bush decided to find a reasonable solution in the matter as soon as possible.

Basescu said he talked to Bush about the visa issue and the case of Teo Peter, who died in a road accident caused by a U.S. marine who was later cleared of negligent homicide charges by the Court Martial.  
 
He added the U.S. president vowed to find as soon as possible a reasonable solution that Peter’s family would accept. Basescu didn’t give further details.
