Late February, five people were arrested by police officers from Section 22 in Bucharest, after having caused a brawl at Bucharest mall Plaza Romania, thus getting into a conflict with guardians from the security company BGS.
Interior minister Dan Nica said at that time he detached the ministry’s control body to investigate the Dinamo sports club in central Romanian city Brasov, since the incident involved Eugen Preda, athlete registered with the club and law enforcement agent.
At the same time, the ministry’s control body performed an investigation at the Bucharest Police, regarding the manner in which public peace keeping activities are unfolded, as well as the manner in which Bucharest crime rings are monitored.
Nica said all people involved and found to have proceeded in a flawed manner will be dismissed.
