BEC validated Crin Antonescu’s candidacy

Central Electoral Bureau adopted on Tuesday the decision on the registration of Crin Antonescu’s candidacy and electoral sign for the May presidential elections.

On Sunday, Crin Antonescu filed his candidacy for the May presidential elections at the BEC. He submitted more than 1.7 million signatures.

”You know that there have been even lately the efforts of many to prevent this candidacy. With all these people by my side, I went ahead”, Crin Antonescu said.

He declared that he wants to be the president of every Romanian: ”I want to be the president of everyone”.
