Romanian PM Assures The Govt Won’t Be Reshuffled Anytime Soon
The prime minister was asked whether he is considering a government reshuffle after elections for the European Parliament and the release of the European Commission’s report on the Romanian justice system.
"The government is working within normal parameters and we are not considering any cabinet reshuffle. On the contrary, I am convinced that ministers will push the pedal even more in the upcoming period in terms of government activity to support investments and the other issues of which they are in charge. We can now say that all bureaucratic obstacles keeping ministers from applying the new governing program have been removed and we are now working at the right speed,” Boc said on public radio.
Transport minister Radu Berceanu told Romanian daily Cotidianul, in an interview that, constitutionally, the cabinet can be reshuffled anytime, though that is not to be expected.
