Romanian gymnasts obtained the following results:
Individual-composed: Flavius Koczi (grades – 13.800 floor, 14.825 pommel horse, 13.375 rings, 16.275 vault, 14.250 parallel bars and 14.425 high bar), Marius Berbecar (grades – 13.950 floor, 12.650 pommel horse, 13.500 rings, 14.650 vault, 14.675 parallel bars, 13.800 high bar).
Floor: no Romanian athletes qualified
Pommel horse: Daniel Popescu (15.500).
Rings: no Romanian athletes qualified
Vault: Flavius Koczi (16.125), Daniel Popescu (1st place, 15.950).
Parallel bars: Cosmin Popescu (15.150)
High bar: no Romanian athletes qualified.
In the women’s division, Anamaria Tamirjan and Diana Chelaru will compete in the individual composed finals, while Anamaria Tamirjan and Gabriela Dragoi will compete in the beam finals, and the same Tamirjan, together with Sandra Izbasa will compete in the floor finals.
The women’s, as well as men’s, individual composed competition will take place Saturday, while the apparatus finals will take place Sunday.
The Romanian delegation in Milan aims to obtain 1-2 medals, as well as 4-6th place rankings.
