Platon said damage assessment has been completed and the data is to be sent to the Interior Ministry.

"We’ll try to promote a Government Decision to grant compensations to people who suffered losses due to the floods. We hope to finish drafting it in one month and send it to Bucharest," Platon said.

Floods last month affected 30 localities in the county, 201 homes were flooded and five of them were completely destroyed. Floods also destroyed several roads, farmland, wells and killed livestock.
