The sub-committee was set up by the Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Chamber of Deputies.

“The Sub-Committee is empowered to represent the Romanian Parliament at the European Parliament’s Group for Space and to attend meetings and conferences in the sector,” Fenechiu, who is also the head of the information technologies committee, said in a note addressed to the Parliament’s Standing Office.

Liana Dumitrescu is president of the Sub-Committee for Space, Fenechiu said. The organizational chart also includes deputy president Viorel Ariton, secretary Mircea Cazan and members Adrian Badulescu and Petru Fargo.
