Boc said, during a videoconference with prefects across the country, that 821,692 new work contracts have been signed between May 1 and August 4, adding that, of them, 162,480 have been terminated.
Of the 821,692 new work contracts, 65.9% are on indefinite period.
According to data presented by the prime minister, the total number of work contracts stood at 6,406,908 on August 4, of which 93.2% are indefinite period contracts.
The new Labor Code, for which the Government received a confidence vote in the Parliament, entered force on May 1.
