The event is part of a campaign started by the Romanian capital city’s general police force, which aims to involve youngsters in community actions and prevent gang violence.
Graffiti artists will paint the police fence under the slogan "Pax Urbana" (Urban Peace) and the event will also be attended by local officials.
The event is unfolding in collaboration with the Kartier program of the city’s metropolitan library youth center, which launches Thursday the first edition of its free newspaper, Kartier, that will include information, features and photos on gangs in Bucharest.
