The minister said the restructuring will affect every Interior Ministry institution – Police, Gendarmerie, Border Police etc. Employees who failed the evaluation process will be the first to leave, he added.

Graduates of Interior Ministry schools will sit their degree exam in December and get hired starting in 2012, depending on the number of vacant positions.

„It is very important in the future to set the exact class size of our special schools (…) and train as much personnel as the ministry needs, not more like we have done recently,” said Igas.
