The vice president of the Bucharest branch of the Romanian National Liberal Party, Antonel Tanase, stated that the mayor of Bucharest District 6, Cristian Poteras, is incompatible with his position, since he is the manager of a firm.

"When he was elected mayor, he said he is willing to give up his business in order to handle the administration of District 6, but he is registered, alongside his brother Goerge, as manager of S.C. Premier CG Impex SRL," Tanase said.
He announced that he would notify the Secretariat of the District 6 Local Council and the Prefect’s Office, for the acknowledgement of incompatibility and the cease of Poteras’ mandate as mayor.
"If the two institutions fail to take measures, we will notify the Ministry of Interior and Administrative Reform, and then the Prosecutors’ Office," Tanase added.
According to him, in the database of the National Office of the Trade Registry, Cristian Poteras is registered as manager of S.C. Premier CG Impex SRL with headquarters in Chitila, Ilfov county, created on April 4, 2000.
