Monday Antonel Tanase, state secretary in the Ministry of Transports, said Monday the airports would be closed during the Bucharest-hosted NATO summit early April.
He added Bucharest would be a closed city during the three days of the summit, and traffic restrictions will be imposed on national road 1, north of the capital.
The NATO summit, one of the largest political events, will bring together in Bucharest leaders of the 26 allied states on April 2-4.
