IT employees in Bucharest receive the highest wages, followed by those in Cluj and Timisoara. Third rank the employees in Galati, Craiova, Constanta, Oradea, Targu Mures and Sibiu, the survey says.
Employees make 20-25% more money in firms which have foreign capital rather than firms based on entirely Romanian capital.
Private company employees have 50-60% higher incomes than the employees of state-owned companies.
"A manager in a private company can reach an income three times higher than in a state-run company," the study shows.
Women employed on senior programmer/developer and support specialist positions make more money than men hired for the same job.
The analysis was performed in June, with 3,000 employees participating at the study.
The website representatives said they will continue the study until the end of October.
