Bucharest Mayoralty To Pay RON63M For Street Refurbishment

Interested companies have until February 9, 2009 to submit bids.

 

The contract will be assigned through open bid. Selection criteria are: price (55%), quality plan (20%), execution and design periods (20% and 5%, respectively).

 

Refurbishment works include the ten streets, related sidewalks and green spaces, as well as technical projects and related execution details.

 

On November 25, Bucharest councilors approved a draft law regarding technical and economic indicators in view of refurbishing 31 roads in the city.

 

Under the draft act, works are to start next year.
