Bucharest Parking Spots Cost More Than In Berlin, Lisbon, Warsaw – Colliers
The monthly fee set for a parking spot in Bucharest has grown this year, compared to 2008, by 33%, to $205, thus topping similar fees in Berlin, Lisbon or Warsaw, but remaining below the ones in Sofia and Budapest, according to real estate services company Colliers International.

This year, Bucharest is ranked 16 among 48 cities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with respect for the monthly fee collected for one parking spot, while last year, according to Colliers data, Bucharest was ranked 11th.
The study analyzes central Bucharest parking spots not subject to subscription.
According to a study, unfolded globally by Colliers, a parking spot in Bucharest costs $205.23 this year, while last year the fee reached $153.86.
Parking lots in Bucharest are, according to Colliers, more expensive than the ones in Berlin, where the cost for one month reaches $176.93, Warsaw - $184, Lisbon - $169.85 and Abu Dhabi - $105.
However, Sofia registers monthly fees higher than the Bucharest ones, with a level of $283, and so does Budapest, with $295.
The highest fees in the EMEA are seen in London, City area, where a parking spot costs $1,020, London - West End - $955.51, Amsterdam- $805.36, Zurich – $515.74, Milan – $495.39.
On the opposite side, the lowest parking spot costs are seen in Johannesburg, Durban and Pretoria, all in South Africa, where the fees reach $71.45, $80.96, and respectively $90.66.
Colliers International is one of the largest real estate companies in the world, with annual revenues of EUR1.4 billion.
