EC To Present Convergence Recommendations To Romania

"In this document, the Commission will present its stance not only on the program and the manner in which Romania aims to take the steps towards the Euro currency in a certain timeframe, but also the budget, fiscal and generally macroeconomic policy of Romania," Orban said.

 

The revised form of the convergence program, initially approved in January, was approved by the Government in December 2007. The document includes budget policy and switch to Euro objectives.
