The ministry said the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies did not take responsibility to continue the trip to Erez.

The Romanian Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, stays in touch with Romanian citizens in Gaza and Israeli authorities to continue evacuating people from the area.

The ministry said earlier Monday in a press release that 63 Romanian nationals, with both Romanian and Palestinian citizenship, received green light from Israeli authorities to leave the Gaza Strip, via the Erez border crossing.
