Romanian President To Discuss Econ Crisis, Energy Security In Warsaw
Basescu said he will also discuss the two countries’ bilateral relations, the Synergy of the Black Sea and the EU’s Eastern Partnership, the economic crisis and solutions the two countries see. He added energy security and the European Union’s common agricultural policy will also be discussed, in which both countries are equally interested.
Basescu also said the two parties will sign agreements to found the Romanian Cultural Institute in Warsaw and the Polish Cultural Institute in Bucharest.
The Romanian head of state meets Thursday with Polish President Lech Kaczynski, the heads of the Polish Parliament and the head of the Council of Ministers, representatives of the Polish business environment and representatives of the Romanian community in Poland.
