C&A currently has three stores in Bucharest, one in Buzau and one in Arad.
One store will have an average surface between 1,200 and 1,500 square meters, according to Saure.
Last year, the group announced its intentions to open family stores in Romania, with surfaces of 1,500-2,000 sqm, following investments of some EUR1 million in each unit.
The company has been present in Romania since 2009.
C&A, part of the Cofra group, operates over 1,300 stores in Europe. Swiss-based Cofra Holding is owned by Dutch family Brenninkmeijer. The group is active in real estate, financial services, private equity and renewable energy.
