„Energy distributors and suppliers have always asked and they will keep asking for price increases – it’s what they do (…). We won’t cave in to such demands,” Lificiu said at the 2010 Energy Regional Forum in Neptun, southeast Romania.

According to the ANRE official, the companies have been asking for price increases of up to 30% of the current tariffs.
