The government made this decision after it analyzed the three normative acts for more than ten hours.

The country’s Code of Education will be submitted to the Parliament as a draft law on education.

"The draft law on education – we decided to call it that because it reflects the joint efforts of the Andronescu and Miclea committees, and the proposition to call it draft law on education was forwarded by Prime Minister Emil Boc," Government spokesperson Ioana Muntean said.

Muntean also said the Government would send a letter Thursday to the Standing Offices of the Parliament to inform them on the Government’s intention to assume responsibility, while the amendments to the three draft laws will be included in documents until August 5, to be further submitted to the Parliament.

Ministry sources previously said the Government decided to assume responsibility in Parliament on the laws on education, unitary pay and spending cuts.
