Revolut Tops 1 Million Users in Romania

Revolut also registered the second-largest growth rate in Romania, followed by France, Poland and Ireland.

Revolut opened an average of 3,300 new accounts per day in the second half of 2019.

The average age of Revolut users in Romania grew to 34 from 32 and most users come from urban areas. Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara and Iasi are the cities with the biggest number of users.

Since its launch on the local market in May 2018, Revolut registered over 58 million transactions in Romania, with a total value of over EUR3.8 billion.
