Romanian Police Makes New Arrests In Weapon Heist Case

The Romanian Police posted Sunday on its website pictures of the two brothers, wanted in connection with the theft of weapons from Military Base 01916.

Also Sunday, investigators found over 30 weapons from the ones stolen one year ago.

On March 2, eleven soldiers were sent to trial in the case involving the weapon heist at the military base in Romanian commune Ciorogarla, under charges of theft, absence without leave and violation of weapons and ammunition regulations.

The suspects were recently released before these two latest arrests.
