Romanians To Buy Train Tickets From Automated Dispensers In Bucharest

The passenger division of the Romanian national railroad company, CFR Calatori, will set up in Bucharest’s North Station automated ticket dispensers, and the program will be widened to include other large train stations, the company announced Monday.

„The machines will be set up in the Bucharest North Station, within a pilot program, which will continue in 2010 with the implementation of machines in other large train stations. Countrywide implementation will continue based on financial resources in upcoming years,” said a press release issued by CFR Calatori.

At the moment, tickets can be bought at CFR agencies, online and at train station desks.
