The minister said the Government has allotted about EUR300,000 to recover the stolen objects.
People familiar with the matter said in March the Government would pay about EUR300,000 to recover a gold bracelet, two iron shields and 229 gold and silver coins of Dacian origin, which were stolen from Romania.
According to the sources, the objects were identified and recovered by German authorities last year and the Government has one year (until April 15) to exercise its preemptive right over the objects.
