Romanian 9-Mo Dacia Car Registrations In Spain Tripled To 15,559 Units

The number of Dacia car registrations hit 1,274 in September, more than double compared to September 2009, when 381 units were registered.

French group Renault, owner of Dacia, registered a 5% increase in the number of registrations in the January-September interval, to 66,108 units.

Renault car registrations decreased by 50.3% in September, to 4,659 units compared to the same interval last year.

Spanish carmaker Seat is the market leader by the number of car registrations in the first nine moths of 2010, 73,225 units, up 21.7% on the year.

The overall Spanish car market increased by 16.2% in the first nine months, to 787,189 units, but it decreased by 27.3% in September, to 56,280 cars.
