Bob Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman on May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota, is a famous American singer, songwriter and poet and one of the world’s most representative figures.
His first songs encompassed a variety of political, philosophical, social and literary influences. Dylan explored various music traditions representative for the American culture, such as folk, blues, country, gospel, rock and roll, jazz, swing, as well as music genres representatives for England, Ireland or Scotland.
Many of his songs, such as „Blowin’ in the Wind” and „The Times They Are a-Changin'” became real anti-war anthems.
