Romanian PM Assures EU Ambassadors Govt Will Keep Political Stability

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc assured ambassadors to Bucharest of European Union countries that the Government will maintain political stability despite the split in the ruling coalition prompted by the social democrats’ pullout, people at the meeting told MEDIAFAX Thursday.

„The prime minister gave assurance that the Government, in its new formula, will manage to maintain the country’s political and economic stability,” said one of the diplomats present at the talk with the prime minister.

Boc met with EU ambassadors shortly after social democrat ministers handed in their resignations, leaving Boc with a minority government.
