Romania’s Cap City Needs EUR1B Invest For Electric Network Devt

The high electric power consumption is fueled by the development of the real estate sector.

Tudor said the annual average electric power consumption annually increases by up to 100%, unlike a 3% or 4% hike countrywide.

The national electric power consumption was up 2% in 2007 from a year before.

Tudor foresees problems with the electric power supply in the summer, especially in the center of Bucharest as well as at the outskirts.
