Coronavirus in Romania: 8.262 people infected in the last 24 hours and 186 deaths

As of Tuesday, 17 November, in Romania, 373.474 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus have been confirmed (COVID – 19). 253.244 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 8.262 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 497 people were reconfirmed as positive.

To date, 9.261 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 16.11.2020 (10:00) – 17.11.2020 (10:00) were reported 186 deaths (110 men and 76 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Călăraşi, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vaslui and Bucharest.
