Chamber Speaker Asks That Probe Requests For MPs Be Sent To Parliament

"In accordance with legal procedures, for members of parliament Adrian Nastase and Miron Mitrea, members of the Chamber of Deputies, the interim justice minister is to forward to the Chamber he requests for the start of criminal investigations," Olteanu said in the letter addressed to Kovesi.

 

Kovesi on Tuesday sent Olteanu’s request further to the department investigating organized crime DIICOT and the anticorruption department DNA, for the institutions to formulate their points of view on the matter.
