Romania To Hold Presidential Elections On Nov 22
The government discussed last Wednesday about holding the first round of presidential elections on November 22, but said a final decision was to be made the following days, most likely during a cabinet meeting held Saturday, official sources told MEDIAFAX at that time.
Social democrat senator Olguta Vasilescu said Monday at the Social Democratic Party headquarters that coalition leaders agreed to set the presidential elections for November 22 and a final formal decision will be made in the government meeting.
