Some 2,000 Romanians Voted In Italy, 1,500 In Spain, 1,300 In Moldova By GMT 1100

Romania sent 44,000 ballots to Italy, 144,000 ballots to Spain and 54,000 ballots to the Republic of Moldova.
 
Italy and Spain are part of uninominal constituency 1, along 25 other countries. Italy has 19 polling stations and Spain has 20. The Republic of Moldova is part of uninominal constituency 2 and four polling stations were opened in capital Chisinau.
 
Romanians abroad haven’t queued to vote, as in past elections, nor were there any reports of incidents impairing the election process.
