Romania’s Petrom Cuts Gasoline, Diesel Oil Prices

Romania’s largest oil company Petrom SA (SNP.RO) will cut Monday gasoline prices by 0.12 lei (EUR1=RON3.8545) per liter and diesel oil prices by RON0.06, the company said in a statement.

Unleaded Premium 95 gasoline will cost RON2.83 per liter, while the price of one liter of unleaded Top Premium 99+ gasoline will be RON3.16 per liter. One liter of OMV Carrera 95 and of OMV Carrera 100 will cost RON2.93 and RON3.56, respectively.

One liter of Top Euro Diesel 4 will cost RON3.4, while one liter of Euro Diesel 4 will cost RON3.32. OMV Premium Diesel will cost RON3.73 and OMV Sprint Diesel will cost RON3.45, the company said.

According to Petrom’s pricing strategy, pump prices may vary by +/- 5% compared with reference prices.

Petrom, majority owned by Austria’s oil group OMV, owns the largest gas station network on the Romanian market, totaling approximately 450 units.
