Code Yellow Warning Of Snowstorms Issued For Seven Counties

Romania’s National Meteorological Administration (ANM) updated its forecast on Tuesday, announcing snowfall, rain and ice in most of the country until Wednesday, while also issuing a code yellow snowstorm warning for seven counties.

According to the alert, the counties of Caras-Severing, Mehedinti, Gorj, Valcea, Arges, Dambovita and Prahova will see snowstorms and strong winds until Wednesday morning, with the warning in effect until 11.00 local time.

The weather phenomena will have stronger effects in mountain regions, where visibility will be significantly hampered.

In the rest of the country, from Tuesday until Wednesday morning, meteorologists announce moderate precipitations, including snowfall, rain and sleet. Southeastern and southern regions especially will mostly see rainfall.
