Romania’s Dec Unemployment At 7.8%, Highest In 6 Years

The total number of unemployed people was at 709,383 at the end of 2009, from 683,123 in November, according to the National Employment Agency ANOFM.

In November, the jobless rate was at 7.5%.

Romania has not seen a jobless rate of 7.8% since March 2004.
