‘Colivia’ By Romanian Adrian Sitaru Wins Best Short Film Award At Curtas Vila Do Conde Festival
‘Colivia’ by Romanian film director Adrian Sitaru won the best film award at the Vila do Conde International Short Film Festival in Portugal, which took place between July 3 and July 11, said expresso.pt.

The jury was made up of Katell Quillevere, Daniel Blaufuks, Laurent Guerrier, Balint Kenyeres and Manuel Mozos.
'Colivia also won the German Academic Exchange Service award at the 2010 Berlinare Shorts, as well as the Best Romanian Short Film Prize at the Transylvanian International Film Festival (TIFF).
The short film features two well-known Romanian actors, Clara Voda and Adrian Titieni.
Adrian Sitaru is a film director, producer, screenwriter and actor. One of his short films, 'Valuri', was awarded the Golden Leopard in the "Leopards of Tomorrow" section at the 60th edition of the Locarno International Film Festival in the summer of 2007. 'Hooked' won two awards at the 2008 Thessaloniki International Film Festival, the jury award at the second edition of the 2008 Estoril Film Festival and the New Voices section at the Palm Spring International Film Festival.
Curtas Vila do Conde is the most important short film festival in Portugal and one of the most prestigious festivals in Europe.
