Romania’s July Residential Building Permits Dn 4.8% MM

The southern –Muntenia region, the northeastern and southwestern zones accounted for the highest decrease in the number of building permits released on the month in July.

Nearly 64.1% of the building permits issued in July were for residential projects in rural area, mirroring the same trend from a month ago.

The most significant decreases on the year in July were registered in the southern-Muntenia, Bucharest-Ilfov, and southeastern zones.

Also, Romania issued 28,382 buildings permits for residential projects in the first seven months, down 19.4% on the year, INS also said.
