The investment will be financed from the budget of the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism.
Last year, the Casino was taken over from the Constanta City Hall by the Ministry. After it is repaired and restored, it will be put under the management of the Constanta Local Council and opened to the public again.
The Constanta Casino is one of Romania's best-known historical monuments. It was built using public funds in 1903-1910, converted into a hospital during World War II and a restaurant during the communist period. (EUR1=RON4.3219)
