Coronavirus in Romania: 1.987 new cases and 71 deaths in the last 24 hours
To date, on 11 January, in Romania, 673.271 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed.
600.710 patients have been declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1.987 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 399 people were reconfirmed as positive.
To date, 16.725 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 10.01.2021 and 11.01.2021, 71 deaths were reported (48 men and 23 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeş, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Buzău, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Gorj, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Maramureş, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiş, Vâlcea and Bucharest.
