Coronavirus in Romania: 1.551 new cases and 65 deaths
A number of 1.551 new cases of coronavirus have been reported on Monday in Romania and 65 Romanians have died due to SARS-CoV-2.

To date, on 25 January, in Romania, 712.561 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID - 19) have been confirmed. 654.875 patients have been declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1.551 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
Aside from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 413 people were reconfirmed as positive.
To date, 17.841 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 24.01.2021 and 25.01.2021, 65 deaths (38 men and 27 women) were reported, of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bacău, Bihor, Botoşani, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Brăila, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Constanţa, Dolj, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iaşi, Maramureş, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Vaslui, Vrancea and Bucharest.
